Cairo – Mubasher: South Korea's Global Knowledge Company (GKC) will sign an agreement on Wednesday to develop a $225 million waste-to-energy power plant in Beheira, CEO of GKC MENA Ihab Tahoon told Al-Mal News.
The first phase of the deal will cover building a power plant in Hosh Essa, Tahoon highlighted, adding that the second phase of the project will be established in Edku once the first succeeds.
He further noted that the price of generated electricity from the new power plant has been initially set at 145 piasters as the final price will be set eventually.
